"The Anchorage is the most luxurious property that we have ever stayed with. Absolutely everything was provided to make my family's holiday a very special one. The comfortable beds, the coffee machine, robes and slippers, even boogie boards for the children. To walk down the back staircase to our private beach was just such a treat. This house is just next level!!! It deserves more than 5 stars . I straight away tried to book The Anchorage again for 2027, but was told that the owners are moving in. Cant blame them for that at all! xx Thankyou for our amazing 5 days at your stunning home. We will have the memories for ever. xx"

"Whilst close to the beach, property was dirty, dated and in need of maintenance. Furniture was uncomfortable, towels had massive stains on them, the bath mat could walk away by itself, the cutlery drawer was horrific, just don’t book it or you will not have any comfortable furniture to sit on whilst you are there"

"Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for 5 people. Peace, quiet (cicada version of quiet!), kangaroo families, fire pit, close to beaches and lake. The solitude of the lakefront was a highlight, just us and the birds and leaping fish. Cabin had everything we needed (just byo linen). Great bush and water experience, highly recommended. "
