Relaxing Mountain Getaway

Little piece of heaven
We booked this beautiful cottage as a last minute, extended stay. It was extremely clean, well decorated, and felt like home. It is a vert short walk to the park with a great outdoor area, including pickleball courts. Everywhere in the neighborhood are areas with incredible views, but one of our favorites was right off the back deck! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. If you are thinking of booking this house, just do it!

Best VRBO experience I have had. The hosts made the process super easy and were very quick to respond to any questions that I might have. The home was spectacular! Very clean and well maintained. Amazing views. The hosts have thought of everything. I highly recommend this property and hosts.

Great cottage and location
We have stayed in this location a few times and love the views and ease of access to lookout grill and other amenities. This was our first time staying in this cottage but will definitely return. Great views, location and property owners.

Beautiful vacation home

20th Anniversary get away
This home is beautiful and well appointed with all the amenities. I would have given the property a 5 but for the entire stay the lights on the front porch and back deck didn’t work. Me and my wife found this to be very inconvenient when walking out side to the car or just wanting to step out for a moment. The owners did try and troubleshoot it with us but to no prevail. Over all I would absolutely stay here again and feel very confident that this issue was isolated and not the norm. My wife also left a bracelet behind and the owner was very nice and mailed it back to her. We had one of the most relaxing weekends in a long time here and enjoyed just staying in the cottage listening to our favorite songs on there sound system. Great place for Family and Friends 😎

Property is phenomenal! So clean! Tasteful mountain furnishings in top condition, kitchen had ANYTHING a person could need. Just a lovely top-notch place to stay. The view cannot be described in words. Owner communication was timely and professional. BRMC ROCKS!

As good as the reviews said....
I read many reviews about the property and people's experiences staying there. All were extremely complimentary about both the host and the structure itself. Neither disappointed. The house was well laid out for guests of all ages, clean, and well equipped. It has a modern, mountain vibe that suits the location. The host, Rebekah, was very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again if visiting the area.

Charming House in Great Location
While I felt like neighbors too close the home was very charming. Plenty of room for three couples to stay. Location is ideal for Blowing Rock and Boone little shops, restaurants and plenty of sights to see. I would highly recommend and stay again. Did not like scheduling only Tuesday check in and out Sat. Am. Would like to stay full week or couple of weeks.

Wonderful!
Beautiful views, comfortable beds, everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kids/teens had their own floor and enjoyed the game room too. We used the gym, hiked the trails, played basketball and pickle ball, all conveniently located near the house. Highly recommend!

Great family getaway at BRMC Cottage
Our family of 5 had an amazing week at Blue Ridge Mountain Club. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking and every drawer and cabinet is labeled. The layout is perfect with 1 master upstairs and the other rooms on the lower level. The hot tub worked as it should, was clean, and the views from the back deck are hard to beat. The boys had fun in the garage game room and the pickle ball and bocce ball courts are a short walk. The furnishings are nicer than we see in rental houses - the owners have not spared any expenses to make the cottage comfortable. Also, communication was quick if we had any questions. Definitely 5 stars.

Winter Break family vacation
We planned a mountain escape for our son/grandson’s winter break. We were familiar with the Boone/Blowing Rock area and figured there were enough activities to entertain a 1 year old, 4 year old, and 6 year old + 5 adults. In our search for a rental home, we stumbled across this property. We could not have found a better home. BRMC is a fantastic area with so much to offer and this house is perfectly located to take advantage of it all. We thoroughly enjoyed (multiple times daily) the pavilion area with basketball, pickle ball, soccer, and bocce. We also took advantage of the trails leading up to magnificent views by the clubhouse area. We would have been fine just staying at the home as the game room offered so much for our kiddos and the views from both porches were amazing. Everyone enjoyed the common areas, but was also able to escape to their own private corner. Thank you for making this such an easy trip for our family—so much to do (outside and inside) through the many many amenities of this home. When we left today, I asked our kids if they wanted to come back—their response was ‘yes! But I want to stay at that house again!’

The Perfect Luxury Mountain Getaway
This was the perfect rental for our first mountain weekend getaway. The home is gorgeous with breathtaking views from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountain Club, a welcoming neighborhood with lots of amenities. We would have been happy staying at beautifully decorated home all weekend as the owners have thought of every comfort to truly make this property feel both like a luxury getaway and as familiar as your own home. From a Make Your Own s’mores kit to a bottle of wine from a local vineyard to coffee and tea for the mornings to every kitchen tool we needed to warm, cozy blankets to extra pillows to luxury towels for the hot tub to enough toiletries for our party of 8, they really go above and beyond to delight guests. And while we did enjoy relaxing by the fire, soaking in tbe hot tub, and our kids loved the stocked game room, we also enjoyed a fun, challenging hike by accessing the trail right by the house, going into Blowing Rock for lunch and shopping, dinner at Lookout Grill (the really great onsite restaurant in the neighborhood), and a day of tubing at Hawk’s Nest. Our family and the other family staying with us both commented that this will be a weekend we remember for the rest of our lives. We will definitely be back and seek out this perfect rental again!

Magical
This was our third time at this property. It truly is a magical experience! Everything is well appointed and cozy.The cottage has everything you need in the kitchen and more. This trip I was particularly thankful for all of the lush throw blankets that were in each room. As a family of six it was another very restful trip. We enjoyed the hot tub the game room and just lounging in the fabulous family room around the fire. We also enjoyed a nice hike up to the Lookout grill for dinner. I highly recommend this cottage! You won’t regret booking it.

Incredible house up in the Blue Ridge Mountain Club. Private with amazing views.
This property was everything and more! The homeowners have truly gone above and beyond having the house equipped with the everything you could possibly need during your stay. They even had it decorated for Christmas, which was such a nice added touch. Perfect for all ages! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Property - Great Owners!

Great weekend
The house was really well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and more. We loved the neighborhood and all the outdoor activities. The only issue we had was with the barbecue not having an automatic starter. The owners were super quick to respond with a solution but we just found it easier to cook indoors. I would definitely book this house again in the future and highly recommend it.

Wonderful home in idyllic neighborhood
This is a very nice home in an amazing neighborhood. A guidebook that describes the area and every switch thoughtfully labeled make it easy to settle in. Best friend’s birthday celebration!
Blue Ridge Mountain Club was the perfect location, and this was the perfect house, for our ‘girls’ getaway to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, including amazing long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! The amenities offered by BRMC made our trip even more special! The owners always responded immediately to our every question and provided valuable information prior to our arrival to make planning our trip the absolute best experience! Blowing Rock was such a special place - we enjoyed great shopping and fabulous restaurants! And - Grandfather Mountain should not be missed!

Fabulous mountain getaway
We had a wonderful relaxing weekend, hikes, pickleball, great meals. We went into blowing rock a couple of times but would have been just fine where we were. Great house in a great neighborhood!
Great place for families! We had our parents and kids with us and had plenty of room! The game room in the detached garage was a big hit! The house’s location in the neighborhood was fantastic. We had a short walk to all of the amenities as well as hiking trails. We’ve been coming to the area for years and this neighborhood has such incredible views and so much to do (hiking, ATV trails etc..) you really don’t have to leave the neighborhood once you’re there! We highly recommend this home!

Mountain Getaway with a View
We stayed here with our family of 5 and had an amazing time. The property is gorgeous with a lovely mountain view. Very clean and well stocked. We loved the neighborhood and eating at Lookout Grill. The owners were always available to answer any questions. Lots of great hiking trails and my kids loved the hot tub. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cottage. Years ago, my husband and I drove by this property and, looking at the exterior, we agreed this was the kind of home we wanted one day. Little did we know it was the exact same house we rented for our family getaway! And it did not disappoint once we entered the front door…every detail is thought of ~ from the tasteful home decor to the quality kitchen items, from the number of hangers and pillows available to the SONOS music system that is available to play, from the sunset views to the proximity of the food truck, pickle ball courts and pavilion. And bonus, we peeked in the detached garage to find a game room loaded with load of fun! - all beautifully cared for and ready for even the finickiest of guests. This home lives like a permanent house and we absolutely will be back…just for longer next time :)

We rented this home about 5 years before we had the opportunity to purchase it. It truly was our inspiration to find a special retreat in the mountains. We searched and searched only to find that nothing was really measuring up to all that we loved about this cottage. We reached out to the former owners to see if they were open to sell, and as they say "timing is everything". Super clean, well stocked everything (we brought toilet paper and paper towels and cleaning items as “starter kit” usually means 1 roll of toilet paper and no dish soap in my experience but we didn’t need a single thing we brought…and we stayed 3 nights). I loved the check in process and not having to keep up with a key. The game room takes this house to the next level. And when we had a small issue with the oven during dinner time, we texted Rebekah and she quickly helped us resolve it even sending a picture to help us fix it. In addition, the amended at BRMC are fantastic and this house has the BEST location to them. We have already decided this will be our “go to” mountain house.

Beautiful home and location
This property is perfectly appointed and equipped. Everything you need is in this house. There were amazing thoughtful touches everywhere. The neighborhood is a slice of heaven. We particularly loved the hike to Blue Hole and our dinner at the Lookout Grill. I'm fairly particular with vacation properties and the only thing I could possibly come up with in this one to add a full length mirror in the upstairs primary bedroom. We will be back!
