We stayed one night here on our way home and it was excellent. Plenty of space in the cabin and lots of room for our dog to stretch his legs outside. Everything was very comfortable, communication was great, and we loved the area. We hope to come back someday!
This is a very nice property with a large outdoor space that is perfect for summer. The decor is refined mid-century kitsch and will put you in a good mood. Close connections to Shepherdstown, Antitetam Battlefield, and Harpers Ferry. A quiet and relaxing getaway.
We had a wonderful time in this delight- filled historic guest house. Relaxing escape from the city. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to hang out in. Many humorous touches. Comfy beds, plush towels. Super clean. Exceptional host! Note- has a mini- fridge, and counter top oven when meal planning/ grocery shopping.
Wonderful communication with the owner, gorgeous property, & super peaceful environment. Spent Saturday in: Boonsboro (breakfast at Dream Diner), Antietam, Harper's Ferry, Charles Town, Shepherdstown, and dinner in Hagerstown (Arepa Queen). All super convenient to this location, but it's farm country so it feels a million miles away from the noise of cities and towns.
My fiancé and I had a great weekend at robins nest! The cottage is so cute and so clean and we felt very comfortable there! We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the hut tub! We did some hiking at local trails and enjoyed dinner out both nights. The cottage is quiet and peaceful. We had a very relaxing weekend. The host is very responsive and helpful.
The property was very cute. The shower is lovely and so is the outdoor area. It didn't feel as private as I had hoped it would be, which was the only downside since it was a couple's getaway. I would stay again, but maybe not as a romantic spot; perhaps a small group instead.
Nestled in the foothills of Washington County and minutes from the Antietam Battlefield, you will not be disappointed if you choose Robin's Nest for your stay. The "nest" had every amenity and the host was fabulous! After soaking in the hot tub, take a mountain drive, hit the Yellow House for a crab cake, head to the beach at Greenbriar State Park, go to Grotto's Caverns. My granddaughter did not want to leave! We will return!
Not very private. Not kid friendly. Youngest child wasn’t able to be in the loft. Went out to use the hot tub and it stated only 16 and older could use. Disappointing.
