"We arrived late, however for the entire time we didn’t receive the parking QR code. Turned out to be the staff wrote down my email wrong (mess up with my last name). Do we had to pay 75 Euros extra for the parking plus 40 minutes extra to find the parking garage. After 8 hours driving and mid night, it was a bummer. Then the room sheets were smelling from something. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom door handle was falling off and during our entire stay, no one seemed to care about it. For entire 3 days stay, we only got 1 bottle of water on day one. So I cannot give any positive feedback unfortunately."

"I rarely write a review but I think this hotel experience categorically does not deserve a rating of over 8, given that our room: - was next to a public alleyway, meaning the curtains had to be closed the whole time, allowing for no natural light - had no door between the bedroom and toilet, with a short distance between the two, absolutely zero privacy I imagine we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel, but regardless this is completely subpar quality for the experience expected!"

"Located near the center city, Hotel Burdigala provides a quiet refuge from Bordeaux site seeing. Some of the front desk staff were helpful during our three day stay and the restaurant staff proved unfailingly pleasant. The hotel gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and served delicious breakfasts and nice afternoon light food at the bar when needed. From there it was an easy walk to a tram to visit city sites. Excellent room maintenance. My advice would be to avoid a room with a flat corner shower with no enclosure in the bathroom, since morning showers sent water pretty much all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom was spacious but lacked any kind of storage cabinet or small stand to hold toiletries. We enjoyed our stay there."
