About this property
Villa Piloni - Venetian Villa in the Dolomites
A marvelous 1600 building immersed in the Belluno countryside. Villa Piloni, built in 1600, is one of the residences that the Conti Piloni family owned in the Belluno valley.
It is a beautiful example of the civilization of the Venetian Villas that had so much role in the development and enhancement of the territory; solemn and austere but comfortable. Located in the Roman village of Carfagnoi (Carfanius) it is surrounded by a pleasant exclusive garden. The building is accessed from the main front, facing north, via an elegant stone staircase flanked by ancient hydrangea plants. The entrance leads to the large living room with an important red marble working fireplace, a library and a large dining room. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary.
Via a stone staircase you go up to the upper floor, where there is a suite composed of entrance, single room, double room and bathroom. The other two bedrooms served by a bathroom are a single and a double. From the balcony, embellished by a coeval wrought iron railing, the view extends over the valley and the Belluno Pre-Alps.
Ideal location to spend a holiday close to nature in a prestigious home that will allow you to relive past times. Villa Piloni, built in 1600, is one of the residences that the Counts Pylons possessed in the valley of Belluno.

Wonderful place. Very atmospheric buildilng dating back to 17th c. Retaining many historic featutes. Very large and spacious but with a homely feel. All necessary features and good local amenities. Lovely mountain views from the balcony.
If you ever wished to stay in monumental 17th century villa with a superb view on the Dolomites, this is your chance! We loved to stay in the very authentic villa with separate library, diner, kitchen divided in a cooking/eating section and living room. Everything is present: cooking utensils, wifi, terrace with view, quietness in the garden.
Before arrival, we wondered if the whole villa in the picture is actually what we had rented or just a part of out. At arrival, we were amazed to have rented the entire villa.
Everything was very clean.
