"Struggled a little with the lock box on arrival, but managed to get in. Can't comment on communication with the host, as we had no need to. The property was PERFECT. the position on the park is ideal. It was out of the way, up on the Hill so was peaceful and had excellent views. We had everything we needed and more. "We would highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Our room was lovely and spacious with an added bonus of a kitchenette area. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. The staff are very welcoming and the service at the restaurant was also top notch. We ate there the first night and had the set menu. Each plate was exceptional. We would definitely return."

"This hotel was great for a couple of nights in Aberystwyth. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Beds were comfy.Food was great with the cooked breakfast being done to order; nice change. Plus the usual cereal/ croissant buffet for those that don't like cooked.Parking out front is restricted to just 4 hours from 8am - 8pm but we found it useful to park in the unrestricted parking in the street at the back of the hotel.You can access this st via the rear entrance of the hotel. Just a short walk away is the famous cliff railway which is well worth an experience. I recommend this hotel for a few nights in Aberystwyth."
