"Our stay at the Farmhouse was amazing. Location wise it can't be beat being close to so many lovely towns. It was rural enough to give you the feeling you were on a Sicilian farm in the countryside. Lucca our host was a gem. He is very friendly and willing to help out always. Make sure to sign up for the cooking classes, unfortunaly we couldn't but sound amazing. I will recommend this place to everyone looking for a real experience of Sicily "

"I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. At the end of a little alleyway but very safe and well lit and away from the noise of the traffic on the narrow streets. Bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom if that is of concern for anyone. It was 3km from marina so a car was needed but it was v well equipped and we had everything we needed. Lovely seafood and amazing Argentine Steak House very nearby. "We were a large group of families and friends and had a wonderful stay in Villa Zagara. Salvatore was fabulous and could not have helped us enough.
