"The location is literally next door to the Shannon airport. We dropped the rental off a day early knowing we could walk across the parking lot to airport. Friendly staff, the bar is great and the food was delicious. Standard room with only a heater in the room but we figured out how to turn off and kept the window open to cool room down. "

"Kay is a wonderful host. She was very responsive before, during and after our trip. The house was lovely, very clean and large enough for large family gatherings. She even put up a Christmas tree for us. We came for Christmas and had a wonderful time even though our family members had to cancel due to illness. The area is beautiful and Kay is very knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat! I would definitely recommend this lovely home and host for your family vacation. Walking by the road is not an option.I have stayed at many VRBO rentals and if the you like historical charm and warmth ,choose the Thatched cottage. "
