Sea of Cortez Beach House, Perfect Getaway
Located a few steps above a private quiet beach. Relax and enjoy the incredible view from the indoor seating or a comfortable lounge chair on the patio. Activities include tide pool exploring, offroading, watersports, and the famous Puertecitos Hot Springs. Inside are high ceilings, Master bedroom with extra small bed, and 2 built in couches in living room and full kitchen. Perfect for couples, Even with kids, Can sleap 4 guests, adventurers, fisherman, race support, families (with kids) or anyone looking to unplug (No WIFI). Ready to get away and relax with the sound of the ocean and the stars at night? The space Custom Architect designed and built. Even though the house is not large it feels very open and free flowing. The one private bedroom has an elevated bed and drawers below for clothing storage. The drawers can also be pulled from under the bed and used as an additional sleeping pad or use the space under the bed for a sleeping area. Large sliding doors to the patio area and an abundance of window ensures always a great view of the ocean, mountains sunrise and sunset. Yes all of these in 1 day. Relax on the built in sofas or on the patio with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. In the evening enjoy a beer and catch the sunset over the mountains. At night lounge by the fire pit and enjoy the stars. The beach directly in front of the house has incredible tide pool action at low tide and fun fishing at high tide. Take a short car ride south to the world famous Puertecitos hot springs where hot thermal water mixes in with the tide to create pools of varying tempurature. This house is on a private beach 30 minutes south of town. It is perfect for anyone looking to go to the San Felipe area and get away from town. This house is completely off the grid. There is no utilities or services provided from San Felipe. We have a well for water. Solar for electricity. Propane for the fridge, stove, water heater and heater. Everything is limited. There is no wifi.
Guest access Make yourself at home, there are many pots/pans and cooking utensils, relax on the patio, grill dinner on the BBQ or enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Filet your fresh catch on the outdoor fish cleaning area.
Other things to note The house is off the grid. There is a well for water, you can drink it but we recommend bringing bottles water for drinking and cooking. please use the water as needed since the well only gives so much per day. Electricity is generated with solar panels. The refrigerator, and stove all use propane. Everything you need is provided but remember quanitities are limited. If you use up all the stored electricty there is no more until the sun recharges the batteries. There is no WIFI at the house. If youy enjoy relaxing with your tablet I recommend downlaoding your shows and books in advance.
