"I have never, in my entire lifetime of travel, said that I would happily stay for a week at an airport hotel, until now that is. What a fabulous hotel. From the moment we arrived and were given an upgrade to a really nice room, to working out in the really great gym, to the delicious breakfast with one of the better omelette chefs around. We loved every moment and look forward to our next stay when we pass through London. I’ll be booking all of my flights to allow for an overnight at the Sofitel. "

"The room was pleasant and clean, and staff was superb; very accomodating. Specifically Hardik and Arraj/Henry. Those two were spectacular, and I was treated like a warm old customer. Incredibly worth it for any layover over 8 hours. They will not let you down."

Walkway from T4 is slightly awkward when landing at T5 as you need to change trains 2 x but overall better than needing a taxi. the room was tired- stain on the wall where something had spilled behind the table- my travelling companion says she saw mold in the shower and had allergy issues. The bed was clean and comfortable- the kettle did not work. Breakfast was plentiful and well run"

"The hotel is very nice and offers great value if you want to be close to Heathrow. It works out perfectly for me. The staff is very well trained and are high caliber! My first encounter was with Yarika at the front desk who pleasantly and efficiently checked me into room 502. While it was close to the elevator the room was completely silent from noise in the hall or airplane noise. I went down to the restaurant in the lobby and had a delicious and reasonably priced pizza and ice cold beer. My server and hostess was Simran and she could not have possibly been more gracious and personable. I had a great night sleep in the well designed and attractive room. In the morning I had the time to enjoy the ample and tasty buffet breakfast. Again, the staff members Hilda and Cleto, made all the difference. They were busy serving well over 100 people at the time I was there but they did it with a delicate balance of grace and urgency at the same time. Very impressive. Check out was a breeze and I took the Hoppa Shittle bus to the airport terminal right on time and plenty of room for my large suitcase. Overall my expectations Ibis London Heathrow far exceeded my expectations. Compliments to the management and staff who have made this my new London Heathrow go to hotel!"
