"My husband and his family grew up on Chateaugay Lake and have such fond memories — especially of jumping off the bridge. When we needed to come up for a family graduation party and to celebrate his aunt’s 80th birthday, we started searching for a place to stay. It was surprisingly difficult to find something available — until I remembered VRBO.We are so grateful we found your cabin. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and so was the couch (though we didn’t spend much time sitting!). The location truly couldn’t have been better. Being right by the “jumping bridge” was such a meaningful touch, and we were only a few houses away from both his aunt and uncle’s homes, which made everything so convenient.We also really appreciated having the washer/dryer and the air conditioning — especially with the heat. The kids loved having WiFi, and all the nieces suddenly wanted to stay with us for that reason alone! Thankfully, our kids were more interested in fishing and swimming, so they barely touched their phones.Many memories were made during our stay, and we’ll definitely be back.Thank you so much!PS - take a morning kayak cruise.
