First of all, an error in the provided directions to the property caused us to travel about two hours in the wrong direction before we realized the mistake. A few key things were missing that would have improved our stay, including pillowcases on one of the beds, a coffee maker, baking trays, wine opener,...

"Property is beautiful and cabin was very cozy and clean. Hiking is nearby but I was perfectly content spending the day at the cabin and enjoying the various sitting spaces around the property, and of course the lake. The table and chairs on the dock was a favorite spot. Host was lovely to communicate with and made us feel at home during our stay with practically everything we needed. Definitely recommend this rental and hope to be back in the future! Thanks again! "

"The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from. "

"We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. The unit was very well furnished from pots and pans, to comfortable bedding, to personal watercraft, an inviting fire pit, genuine Adirondack chairs, to an inviting lawn swing overlooking the lake. Attention to small details was a hallmark of this property. Susan was regularly in touch and responded within minutes to any question. Their pet friendly policy meant that our son’s and daughter-in- law’s dog could experiences a mountain lake vacation too, and he was one happy, tired pooch. In short, a wonderful time was had by all. "
