"Our overall experience at this property was very positive, however my initial impression was one of disappointment, primarily because of the lackluster greeting I received upon check in. In fact, several minutes passed before I was acknowledged by the front desk clerk who was preoccupied. I respect and understand when a front desk representative is multitasking but expect to be acknowledged, even if asked to give them just a moment. This did not happen, and when she did finally acknowledge me it was with a very bland, ‘Checking in?’ Thankfully the subsequent front desk representatives made up for her subpar presence, as did the cleanliness of the property and the on site breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend this location for anyone visiting Chateau Elan."
