La Boulangerie
This bijou property is ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Communication from the owners is outstanding. The property was nice and clean, with everything you would need for a stay. There was plentiful information on places to visit in the area.

Great week relaxing and exploring Normandy / Brittany border.
La Boulangerie may be small, but is superbly equipped and renovated to a very high standard. It is very private in a rural location with great views of the surrounding countryside and sunloungers, bikes and BBQ available for use. So many interesting places to visit within 30-60 mins drive and amazing empty beaches to the south and north of Granville. We loved it.

We had a fantastic week in this delightful little cottage, with plenty of chilled out relaxing. It’s very comfy with everything you need in the property. The garden and orchard is a lovely accompaniment to the cottage and the location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful but only a 5 minute drive into town. A rural gem
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in peaceful surroundings of farmland and orchards. In good weather, as we had, it is lovely to sit out enjoying the views or walk in the nearby woods and surrounding very quiet roads. Brécey is charming, with all the essentials - and delicious oysters at the Friday market And for a change of scene, it is not too far to the seaside!

Perfect peace!
Most comfortable gite we have stayed in, and we have stayed in 15! If you feel energetic there’s plenty to do, bikes to ride, games to play, and walks to go on in the beautiful countryside. We had a most enjoyable holiday.

Ideal for a relaxing rural holiday, not too far from the coast and places to visit if so inclined
Tiny though it is, this well equipped cottage is very comfortable for two and in a great location. Lovely to see black and white cows grazing in a nearby field from the bedroom window, and sit out in the sunshine that we were fortunate to enjoy for most of our stay. This was our second visit, and since last time Brécey has a new patisserie/boulangerie - very good, as is the butcher near the church. The Friday market is a delight - not often are spider crabs and six kinds of oyster on offer in the UK!

A real charming little Gem !
The property is unique, beautifully maintained and equipped and most certainly far from the madding crowd! We stay here with our 2 lovely cats and we have all had a lot of fun. Despite, the weather was not too good during our stay , we have a great time! Location close to all the tourist destinations, cycling in Brecey and nearby villages ,great weekday markets, supermarket with washing machines / dryer, If you want a nice ,quiet, stress-free holiday this could be the place for you. Well presented cottage.
The location is great for many famous sites within easy travelling distance. The accommodation is cosy for two people and very peaceful. The weather was not too good during our stay but the place soon warmed up when we needed a touch of heat in the evening. Given the restrictions on space it has all the facilities you need. The stairs are narrower than usual, which could be a problem for some, although I have had both knees replaced recently and it didn't cause me too much of a problem. If you want a nice quiet stress-free holiday this could be the place for you.

Utter bliss
Everything we hoped it would be and more on our return after three years but in quite a different season. The property is unique, beautifully maintained and equipped and most certainly far from the madding crowd! Our two weeks' stay was utter bliss - peaceful, undisturbed and temperatures at a high of 36 degrees were no problem. We love Brecey and will most certainly return and look forward to seeing your latest acquisitions! Thank you so much!

Stunning area cottage in beautiful setting.
We arrived on a very wet Saturday in march, by the time we got to the area after having sat nav problems and two phones that were not playing ball with navigation for us (probably coz we are dinosaurs )however in the dark we did drive past the cottage. we rang Trish the manager and she expertly guided us by phone to this delightful gem of a gite. The next day we awoke to the beautiful French countryside, what a delight. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you need on your stay, plenty of DVD's to watch in the evening, the weather was not kind, but nontheless we still ventured out daily our dry day was Friday, beautiful area, friendly people the markets are a must,so different to UK...hope to come again.

Somewhere to come again
Our stay was lovely - the cottage is tiny but very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We loved sitting out and having our meals in the sunshine, alongside the butterflies feasting on fallen pears. Sweetcorn harvest in surrounding fields was Interesting! We cooked damsons from the trees, also cider apples to go with blackberries from along the lane. Local walks good, also Brecey and the lake. We visited Dinan, Granville, Villedieu, St Hilaire, Mortain - all interesting. Enjoyed good meals at L'As Gourmand (Brecy) and Le Port (Granville).

A superb little house with a cosy atmosphere. Great location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with everything only 5 minutes away. John and Trish were great local agents to have when needed, thanks to you both. Paul and Sue, the owners were very accomodating in answering all my question and our thanks to them for La Boulangerie. Besser geht es (fast) nicht.
Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, keine langen Wege mit Gepäck. Grundstück eingezäunt und dicht ( der Hund kann nicht weg). Haus klein und gemütlich und Alles praktisch eingerichtet. Küche komplett und gut nutzbar. WLAN ohne Probleme. Usw usw. Das Badezimmer oben neben dem Schlafzimmer optimal. 2 Hinweise: die Treppe nach oben ist eng und steil, ich musste mit meinem breiten Schultern 😊 vorsichtig hoch. Die Lage ist jwd, für Nichtberliner: Janz weit draußen, deshalb ganz ruhig, aber keine Geschäfte in der Nähe. Kontakt zu den Vermietern perfekt und schnell. Lage optimal für Besuche von Mont Saint Michel und Landungsstränden. Badestrande waren Ende März nicht interessant. Für meine Ansprüche 120% empfehlenswert.

Superbe petite maison en pleine campagne, la Boulangerie est un endroit merveilleux offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour deux personnes.. Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances en sillonnant les nombreux chemins à vélo… De très belles balades, malgré un temps pas toujours clément… normal en cette saison !! Little Gem in Normandy Countryside
We stayed in La Boulangerie for one week in February 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely, warm and welcoming. It’s a real little home and it is evidently well loved and cared for by the owners Sue and Paul and caretaker Sally. Communication with all of them is quick and easy. Thank you all for such a great experience! We hope to return one day!

Das schöne Häuschen befindet sich in ruhiger Lage im Grünen und ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Unser Hund hat den Garten sehr genossen. Bréceys Ortskern ist schnell mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad erreichbar. Ideal für einen ruhigen Urlaub.

The house is really nice and enough space for max. 2 persons. It all works and it is very clean. It is lokated between farmers. Very nice garden for dogs. It is everything here to stay for a while! Great sky watching in the night. Warning for those who have dogs - Mt.St. Michel makes no sence with big dogs and isles Chaussey - the ferry is a nightmare!!! It is overbooked until the roof, very unfriendly handling on the boat. You pay a high price for the dogs but there is absolutely no space for them. Very dangerous! NEVER MAKE THIS TRIP WITH DOGS! Even in Oktober! But the house of Paul and Sue is really great!

Hervorragend Das Inserat sollte auf jeden Fall etwaige Einschränkungen bezüglich des Hundes selbst enthalten. Nicht erst die im Haus liegende Anleitung, wie im Haus zu verfahren ist, z.B., daß der Hund nicht auf der Couch liegen soll..

Das Objekt war wie beschrieben. Der Garten eingezäunt, sodass auch mein Hund entspannt den Garten genießen konnte . Es war sauber und angenehm eingerichtet. Man sollte jedoch bedenken, dass die Treppe steil und schmal ist . Habe dort dennoch 10 erholsame Tage erlebt

Une super semaine, isolés.. Que du bonheur. Petite maison idéale pour un couple avec une envie de se retrouver au calme. J'aurais juste envie d'avoir au moins un canapé lit pour dormir ensemble... Away from the masses
It was very nice. Small, everything you need and very quite in the area. Some great shops nearby and located in the center of a lot of big cities to go and explore. The dogs had a great time in the fenced garden. Not every part of the garden is fenced evenly high, but it was good enough for us. Thanks for letting us stay here!

Mooi huisje op een prachtige plek
Het huisje is niet groot, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het was heel schoon. Wij hebben een mooie week gehad en veel gezien in de omgeving! De D-day stranden en verschillende museums bezocht. En een dag naar Le Mont Saint Michel is ook zeker aan te bevelen.

Schönes kleines Haus mit großem Garten. Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, allerdings zu einer Seite nur 60-70 cm hoch. Wir haben bei bestem Wetter 2 schöne Wochen dort verbracht. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 10 Minuten im Ort, wo es einen großen Supermarkt gibt und mehrere Bäckereien. Vom Haus aus kann man viele sternförmige Ausflüge machen. Gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß die Straße rauf kommt man in ein Waldstück, ideal um eine schöne kleine oder auch größere Runde mit dem Hund zu gehen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus für zwei
Das kleine Ferienhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und man hat alles was man braucht. Man sollte aber gut zu Fuß sein, denn die Treppe in das Obergeschoss ist eng und steil. Empfehlenswert!

Quand nous avons vu la petite maison nous avons flasher dessus. Pas grande mais fonctionnelle. Nous avons apprécié le calme la nature et quelle chance pendant cinq jours du soleil Le Bourg de Brecey ne se trouve pas très loin avec boulangeries, presse et même un super u tres bien achalandé mais il faut absolument une voiture pour se déplacer L'Annonce et les photos sont bien conformes à la réalité Des petits cadeaux nous attendent à notre venue une délicate attention Nous recommandons cette petite maisonnette Merci à paul Sue et Sally

Le plaisir du calme
Apprécié la tranquillité des alentours, certes il faut prendre la voiture pour visiter, mais rentré dans une maison au calme est très appréciable surtout pour un citadin. livret d'accueil bien pratique, des ballades à faire sympa.
