Although the rooms are small by American standards, they are nicely designed and comfortable. Staff is genuinely friendly and helpful.Breakfast is great with good selection of French cheeses, French pastries and a variety of teas. The Hotel Splendide Royal is an excellent boutique hotel in a great location - right off the Rue Saint Honore. It is less than half the price of the major five star hotels for a larger extremely well designed luxurious hotel suite. The breakfasts are not to be missed and included in the price. The service is highly attentive and personal.
