Modern Condo, Walk to Downtown/Lifts!

The inside of this stunning 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom condo is furnished exquisitely with modern decor, and is fully remodeled with hardwood floors and custom designed bathrooms. The master bedroom has a King Bed and its own bath, the second bedroom has a Queen Bed, and the beautiful living room offers a new flat screen tv, brick designed fireplace, a beer cooler and a sleeper sofa that will accommodate two more. In addition, the kitchen offers granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Tamarisk is a quiet, secluded condo complex located within a five minute walk to town or the base of Peak 9, plus has a bus stop for the free bus shuttle right out front of the complex. Wonderful access to everything Breckenridge has to offer either on foot or via the fantastic free ride bus system.

When renting at the Tamarisk property, you would have access to the Columbine Pool. The Columbine Pool is a shared complex pool; that is about a 5-minute walk from the unit.

We provide a basic starter pack for guests, including travel-size toiletries, a limited supply of paper products, and laundry/dishwasher detergent.    This includes enough to get you through a day or two, depending on personal usage.  If you have a longer stay planned, you may wish to bring or purchase more.  Additionally, we do not supply coffee, spices, or other kitchen food items.

Great spot

This place was a great spot for our little getaway. Easy walk to downtown, great mountain views, easy walk to pool area. Overall great little place. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, Great experience. I could not have asked for anything more, really. As a very frequent traveler, I would highly recommend this unit. Particularly, that it was on the main level, feet from parking and no stairs. Beds were comfortable, towels were great., Really good experience. I will be back.

Great spot for weekend stay!

Overall great spot for weekend stay. Location is incredible for access to Breck Main Street and the access to the Gondola and other ski lifts. Plenty of space for 4 people (2 couples) to spend the weekend here. We looked forward to entering the warm condo after the day on the slopes. Fireplace was an A vibe! A few negatives which makes me give a 4/5 review. The radiator / heater in both rooms made a constant rattling noise the first night and impacted our sleep. The other nights we turned the heat up and the radiator noise went away, so was manageable. The second thing was you can hear the footsteps of the people above. Unfortunately, we had a family above us so lots of little feet running around at night during our stay.

Freezing 55 degrees

The main living space of this unit is on a seperate heating zone from the bedrooms. The main bathroom, entryway, kitchen, and living room. Were freezing at 55 degrees. The fireplace helped get the temperature up to 63 degrees, but no better. We were unable to cook or play the games that we had planned. We stayed huddled up in the bedrooms which were on a separate heating zone. When I called management to report my concern, they send a maintenance person who brought two space heaters. He then informed me that there wasn't a problem. He was rude and condescending. I spoke to the property manager upon checkout. I informed him that the unit was cold and the statements of the maintenance person. I showed him date and time stamped photos of thermostat. Conner was cold and indifferent. Miserable stay. Basic heat and kindness were lacking.

Great location, but disappointing stay!

Great location—just a short walk to the downtown shops. The pool and hot tubs were nice. However, the condo itself needs updates. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable—we could feel the springs digging into us. While making the bed, I found two springs actually poking through the sheet (photos attached). I called the office right away, and maintenance didn’t arrive until 4:30 PM. He cut the exposed springs and brought a foam topper, but it didn’t fit the king bed and couldn’t be used. He said replacing the mattress wasn’t possible during our 3 remaining nights.We also weren’t given the number of towels listed in the rental agreement—just 1 washcloth, 2 hand towels, and 6 bath towels for 4 people, 2 bathrooms, and 4 nights. My husband called the office the next morning—and three more times—but management never returned our calls. We travel often and regularly use VRBO, and we’ve never been treated this poorly. We’re not quick to complain, but we’ve never paid to sleep on a bed that should’ve been thrown out years ago or had to ration clean towels. Very disappointing.

Perfect size and Location for my family of 4

the property was great, easy to find and a quick walk to the Quicksilver chair lift. Would love to stay here again. Was exactly what we were looking for.

Nice place, but one major issue.

Overall very comfortable space. The only issue, and it is an issue for sure, is the heat. The livingroom never got above 60 degrees despite setting the thermostat to 75. It is an older unit, and the heat needs immidiate attention. Luckily, we were there only 2 nights and didnt spend any real time relaxing in the unit. If we had, this issue would certainly would have been a deal breaker.

The condo was comfortable and accommodating. There were a pair of dirty socks under the bed when we arrived. I feel that cleaning could’ve been a little bit more in depth.

Nice relaxing place!

This is a nice condo; bathrooms are great!! The beds were a little soft for us but ok overall. The photos are a bit misleading in terms lightness and size but we were very pleased in general. Biggest plus: SUPER QUIET!!

Cozy mountain condo

We stayed in this location for 7 nights. It was located very close to downtown Breck. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs in between hiking and day excursions. The only complaint I would have is that the deck area is very small and not very private. The indoor space is updated and very nice, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great but, needs improvement

The condo place was clean and supplied with the basics. Beds were comfortable and the location was easy to access the town from. The pool was a short walk and is a nice facility. However, I don't get why lighting is so poor in the living room and kitchen; I almost went out an bought light bulbs it was so dim. Opening every curtain did help though. Also, the patio was just gross. I swept the dirt off so I could sit down but, there were exposed electrical wire and conduit and pipes in the ground next to the patio which was quite ugly. I was not impressed with Great Western's customer service.

Just a few hick-ups

Great place to stay. Needs batteries replaced in heating control in great room (next to kitchen). Otherwise, you cannot adjust thermostat in that room. We were able to get some use by taking out existing batteries and switching them around. Fortunately, the weather was mild. Master bathroom sink is very slow to drain. All in all,the unit was what we expected with a few minor glitches. Enjoyed our stay.

Mountain Getaway

Great Experience!

We planned an 11-night stay in Breck, so wanted it to be in a good location, clean and comfortable, and not crazy expensive. This condo checked all the boxes! Our only issue, which was minor, was that it was a little dark. The bulbs in the over-the-range light were burned out so we replaced them, which helped that area a lot. We also moved lamps around to where we wanted to read, etc, and it was fine. Overall it was great, and we will probably book it again next year!

Wonderful condo!

Our family of five had a wonderful experience staying here. It was clean and had everything we needed. We really loved how close it was to Main Street. We cooked several meals during our stay at the place had everything we needed to grill out, cook and eat. The complex was quiet and it was a quick walk to the pool and hot tubs-it was never really crowded. We would definitely stay here again.
