We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Thunder Lodge this past weekend. You absolutely cannot beat the location; it's a peaceful spot nestled in the pines, but still just a five-minute walk to Main Street and the gondola. Loved the pool and hot tub!

This place is within walking distance of the free gondola and downtown area. They also offer a free shuttle if you don’t want to walk. Nice pools and hot tubs as well.

Hotel staff and property in general were great! Our room was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately the elevator was out of order the entire time we were there, and the room was on the third floor, which created a hardship of hauling luggage up and down three flights of stairs. Once the elevator is fixed this property is a 10/10.
