    River Mountain Lodge Horseshoe Gulch Condo is a spacious, two-level deluxe condo with a great view of the slopes from the patio; it’s perfect for small families or groups up to four! There’s a full kitchen with granite counters, two bathrooms, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or après-ski snack. You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, an outdoor heated pool, and hot tubs. Every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

The unit was clean, laid out for four of us to stay comfortably, and conveniently located for skiing/snow boarding - a short walk to the free gondola as well as restaurants. The hot tubs were an added bonus. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed in Breckenridge for a weekend soccer game and this location is unmatched to walk around town! We loved having a big open space with 2 bathrooms for a family of 4. Check in was a breeze and communication was great! We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect location for a couple of small family or a couple of friends to escape to Breck. Great layout and absolutely perfect location for a winter or summer stay. Right off Main St so super convenient access to restaurants, shops, etc. Absolutely perfect for skiing as there is a shuttle stop at the lodge, and 4:00 ends literally across the street. Would definitely stay here again

Location had some great benefits with the bus (both directions by crossing the street) and the town readily available. Unfortunately for our stay the snow was sparse so lower 4 O'Clock was closed so we had to bus out at the end of the day. Brand new toilets, and a very comfortable bed. The washer and dryer are old but worked fine (be sure to bring detergent) for our base layers and socks. The front desk staff were nice and hospitable. The downside is the TV and internet wasn't up to par. The smoke detector was too sensitive as a toasted bagel activated it (twice). Though it's winter, be sure to use the ceiling fan to help circulate the heat (once it warms up). The spiral staircase is charming but we ended up leaving our suitcases downstairs as it was narrow and tough to navigate. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again especially with more snow to ski back.

Overall, we had a pretty good experience staying here for a ski trip and would do it again. Nice condo, convenient location, very courteous front desk staff, several hot tubs, etc.However, the drywall ceiling above the Murphy bed was damaged (appeared to be from a previous water leak) and we learned from a maintenance guy that it was old damage that had never been repaired. A large flake of paint happened to fall on the bed overnight and it made a bit of a mess when it fell apart. The management company was pretty quick to check it out to make sure there wasn't a leak, but I didn't hear back from them on a resolution. It's probably going to continue coming apart until repaired, impacting future guests.

This is a great spot! My wife and our 2 children had a wonderful stay. Pool was clean and warm and the hot tub relaxing. It is literally a 50 yard walk to the main part of town. We'll be back.

Excellent location, plenty of room, close to Main Street. Father and son trip so we don’t need much. However, there was a lot of street noise which made it tough to sleep. It was warm in breck and windows needed to be open with no ac.

The condo is in a perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and the Gondola. It is nicely equipped. Tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay. The only drawback would be the summer months when needing to open windows. The street is very busy and loud 24/7. Also we prefer a contactless check in however the team was very nice and quick. They are attentive to all your needs. Would definitely rent again.

This review is specifically for skiers - it is the info I look for when booking a ski in/ski out resort.This condo is at the bottom of 4 O'clock run - just across the street. The gondola is about 2 blocks away. Very walkable for snowboarders - a bit of a slog for skiers carrying skis and wearing ski boots. As skiers, we took the frequent busses in front of the lodge to either the gondola or Peak 7 or 8.The lodging is not fancy, but is clean and adequate accommodations with easy access to the slopes and the town of Breckenridge. Nice indoor parking.

Perfect location!

The location of this building is perfect! You can step out of the building, cross a bridge and be in the middle of downtown. We love being able to walk to restaurants or to get coffee. Very close to the gondola. Close drive to many hikes. This was our second stay in this lodge but a different unit. It is a bit run down (older carpet, showers a bit dingy due to lots of use) but the beds are comfortable and there was everything we needed. I would trade new and shiny for this location any day!

It's not a ski-out place, but it is super-easy to grab the bus to the Gondola or up to the mountain, and you can ski essentially right up to the front door of the condo. We felt that not being able to ski out was more than made up for by being so close to town and easily being able to walk right to main street for shopping/dining/sight-seeing. We would absolutely come again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were really happy with this rental for a ski vacation. The location is ideal - easy walk to restaurants in the evening, shuttles regularly stop right out front to take us to the gondola, and the 4oclock to town trail ends right across the street, so practically ski-in accommodation. It was nice that once we parked our car in the garage we didn't have to use it again until we left. Key pickup and dropoff was in the rental company's building, but that is located just around the corner. The amenities in the complex were also appreciated. There were three functioning hot tubs (the fourth was snowed in that weekend) - one outside by the pool, one outside connected to the health club and one inside in the health club. This was appreciated when it was especially cold and we wanted to limit walking outside while wet. We managed to find an available hot tub every evening. We also appreciated the restaurant in the basement for our arrival day when we wanted something easy and also for some late night snacks. The front desk also has ski valet to store your skis since they're not allowed in the rooms.Things to note about this unit: Both the murphy bed and the bed in the loft were comfortable for sleeping. Although there were two showers, the hot water was not strong enough for both showers to run at the same time at max heat, so we did have to take turns. Kitchen supplies are only pots/pans/dishes/etc and do not include things like cooking oil, so note that if picking up groceries. The dryer is old/slow, but did eventually dry clothes, just don't expect to it work in <45min. Four towels were available - we used two for showers and two for the hot tub (pool towels are not provided by the hotel for condo guests).
