"Easy check in, the receptionist was lovely and got us extra pillows when we asked. Parking convenient in the multi-storey. Easy walk into Bruges itself, or public transport available on the doorstep. Clean room, comfy bed, great shower! Only niggle was the window doesn't open much so the room was hot on a 23° day (air con didn't work either). Basic (no kettle and shower is right next to the bed, but you know that on booking) but will do for a short stay as just somewhere to sleep!"

"We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Our issues began the moment we arrived; after checking in, we entered our assigned room only to find it hadn't been cleaned. We were forced to take all of our luggage back to reception and wait for them to find us an alternative room. The room layout was highly impractical; the toilet was separate and extremely cramped, which was a major issue for my 6’7” husband. Additionally, the sofa bed for our son was rock-hard and hadn't been made up when we checked in. To finish the stay, housekeeping knocked at 9:00 am, despite the 12:00 pm check-out time. Poor attention to detail and very uncomfortable. "

"I can’t say good things about Martin’s Brugge! The staff was absolutely lovely. Hotel was very clean and it was nice to have the bar available. There is no coffee in the rooms, but if you ask the front desk, they will give you a tea kettle to use. There is coffee available for purchase downstairs. The location is perfect very quiet yet central to everything. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Hotel and rooms are old in general. Not well maintained in places. We booked two rooms and at first one of the rooms had a terrible smell. We reported to front desk and luckily they had another room available. Otherwise I couldn't imagine staying in that room even for a minute."
