Spacious, very modern living/dining area on the upper floor with fireplace, TV and internet. Modern kitchen with oven, dishwasher, Chicco d'Oro- capsule coffee machine, pantry with large fridge and freezer compartment, dining table and stairs to the outside area.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION

The Ciäsa Maira is a 2-family house and is located in the centre of the village near the sports shop. There is a small grocery shop on the opposite side of the street.

On the border with Italian-speaking Switzerland, the uncomplicated atmosphere, the spirit of famous painters and the nature and culture of a mountain pass landscape are appreciated.
As the starting point of the Engadin Skimarathon, Maloja is a mecca for cross-country skiers.
In addition, the pony lift and the Aela panoramic ski lift, on the doorstep of the village, still have a rustic character. Individualists like this peace and quiet. Parents with their children use it to practise their turns or celebrate their return to the slopes after a long break. But it's not just winter sports enthusiasts who feel at home in this natural setting.
The fascinating interplay of light and shadow has also attracted world-famous artists, such as Giovanni Segantini, who chose Maloja as his last home and subject for many nature paintings, or Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti.
