"Maud's Place is lovely. The house is roomy and delightful with beautiful views and outdoor space. It is comfortable, clean and very well outfitted. We would definitely stay again. The only issue we had is that we are older (with mobility problems) and the outdoor steps and inside steps are a bit of a challenge. Also, the barbeque needs replacing. "

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. "This was a unique spot to stay along the Cabot Trail. Expect it to be like camping, but with a nicer sleeping experience and kitchen access! There was even a barbecue on each site, which I wasn’t expecting. You are right up next to your neighbours as the pods are very close together, but I didn’t mind. I has a good conversation with my neighbours and we shared travel advice. "

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores.
