Holiday Homes in Bretteville-sur-Ay

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Our first time staying at a Brit Hotel. The staff, even the ones that did not speak English were extremely friendly and helpful. A special commendation to Elise who went above and beyond to help us. Room and food very good for the price. Great value for money. We will definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the area."

"Lovely room, great staff. "

"Amazing, amazing amazing….food was amazing , staff could nt be more helpful and polite…..everything was perfect . Thank you very much"

"Amazing Farmhouse B and B, ideally situated for the Beaches of Normandy. Very accomodating hosts, we arrived very late without any issues."

"Staff were really helpful will me not speaking french"

"Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious and very clean the a balcony overlooking the street and with a sea view. The morning sunrises were outstanding. The owners and staff are very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. "

"Lovely, comfortable hotel with a fantastic restaurant right next door "

"Very comfortable guesthouse in a vintage norman hamlet a stone’s throw from beautiful Coutances and chateau des Gratot and western Cotentin wild beaches"

"We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are just as charming as the room. The owners are such lovely and attentive people. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Normandie. "

"Great location within the chateau walls in the middle of town."

"Beautiful stay. Very welcoming host."

"Veldig koselig hotell , har vært der mange ganger. Dessverre ble det mye rot med hun som var i resepsjonen. Pratet veldig dårlig engelsk og hadde ikke orden på noe."

"Wonderful place, right in the center of history!"

"Buffet breakfast was good. Tea and coffee available at any time was good. Location was very good."

"A quirky guest house, not really a hotel, in an old building. The room was spacious and comfortable, although somewhat sparsely and quirkily furnished. The bathroom was large, modern and clean. Antoine, the host, was charming and helpful. A short walk into the town centre and cathedral makes this well situated to visit Coutance."

"We had a lovely stay, the hotel and staff were very accommodating and welcoming to children. "

"La chambre est correcte par rapport au prix, par contre les serviettes de toilettes sentent horriblement le renfermées, et le Prix du petit-déjeuner est abusé par rapport à ce qu’il y a mini viennoiseries rassis, lait avarié, pas de choix."

"Magnificent stay! Lovely host. Excellent food and surroundings! Beautiful room. "

"Amazing stay from start to finish. The staff was absolutely awesome—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re visiting Normandy to see the D-Day sites. Everything I wanted to visit was easily accessible from the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Hotel Le Sainte Mère and will definitely be back soon. Five stars all the way!"
