"The cottage was perfect - even better than we expected. The pictures are impressive but can’t adequately capture the astonishing beauty of the views and surrounding area. The location was convenient to beaches, restaurants, marinas, and a well-stocked grocery store. The pool was amazing and so refreshing at the end of hot days spent exploring the island. We also appreciated the option of AC in the bedroom at night, which was hot during the time of year we visited. We loved our time spent on Tortola and can’t say enough good things about Makere Cottage or our hosts. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home in paradise with us!"

"This was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The hotel is spectacular, as is the shuttle service and the hotel staff. The only thing I didn't like is that when you purchase the stay package, they don't tell you about the room and service fees, and then they charge you at the end of your stay, which are unavoidable. But the stay was truly spectacular!!!"

The House was very clean and well maintained which is tough in a tropical environment. The host Tom met us in Road Town and guided us to the house, which was much appreciated! We had no issues or concerns during our stay, I highly recommend Villa Matija!"
