Overall good
Overall, a good hotel, with ample parking and friendly staff. Unable to try the pool/facilities, as came late. Continental breakfast was also fine for the price.

Disappointing Overnight Stay
Overnight stay en route from Italy back to UK. Have stayed previously but this time hotel looked tired. Weather very hot but hotel has no working air con!!!!!! Asked at reception as room had controls in room for AC but told hotel has no working AC. Found room to be noisy as had semi shared balcony. Also people smoking off balcony so unable to open window to help with ventilation. Expensive hotel for the quality provided.

Obviously an old hotel which has been poorly refurbished. It is the end of October and the room was not warm. Air conditioning unit was broken and the inadequate radiator went off overnight. No additional bedding in the room and no way to contact reception (our room was on 4th floor). I slept in my clothes!

Was expecting more!
Expensive for quality provided. Cheaper budget hotels better. Bathroom smelly on arrival. Pillows like Cotten Wool and provided no support. No air con and temp 30 degrees! Told this is due to CV19 but other hotels I stayed at had it working? Disappointing and won’t return.

Great cycling base location for big climbs
This hotel is the perfect location if you are looking to cycle some of the Haute Alps biggest climbs. You have easy access to the Izoard, Galibier and Granon right out the door. Breakfast was great and rooms were comfortable. Easy walking distance to town, so would easily stay here again.

Room basic, clean, staff friendly. Bathroom fine. Air con not working. Good wifi. Swimming pool and sauna area shabby . Location convenient , over a shopping centre, but unlovely and noisy traffic .

Basic, but OK for the price.
Nice enough basic hotel, well positioned for Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre and Puy St Vincent ski resorts. Located next to a Geant supermarket and petrol station. We booked a twin room and were allocated one of the nicer refurbished rooms. Unfortunately, it was a double room, so they swapped it to a double + bunk bed room which, fortunately, was dated and in tired condition. The worst part was that the bathroom had a continuous smell of drains, but this is often the case in France. There is a swimming pool and sauna, which again are OK, but the pictures suggest a better standard and size than reality. Again, the areas were tired. The bar area was pleasant and all staff were helpful and friendly. Clearly there has been some recent investment in the hotel, and if this continues, the hotel will be much better.

A great location for a one night stay. Easy parking, supermarket next door. 15 min walk to the main bars etc. The room that was allocated was in need of some attention, nothing like the picture on website when booked.

Perfect for a quiet ski trip to Serre Chavalier
Perfect location for a 'cheap' ski trip. Hotel staff were very friendly, saying hello or good morning every time you walked through reception or entered the hotel. There is a supermarket next door which was great for grabbing drinks and snacks for a days skiing. The main town is a 10 minute walk (downhill), where you will find a few bars and restaurants - it was never really very busy and there didn't seem to be much nightlife, however we were there for the skiing! There is a ski room to store skis and boots, however we hired from the local shop next to the gondola and left them all there over night which made the walk to the hotel far easier - I wouldn't walk to carry skis with me after a days skiing. The ski lift is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, not too bad and for the price we paid for our stay, very reasonable. The rooms were of a good size, we didn't feel cramped and they were clean. We used the pool most evenings, which apart from the weekend was empty and the sauna made a nice end to the day.

Decent stay, exactly what I expected.
It was exactly what I expected, a simple but decent accomodation. It’s a good a good cost-benefit deal. Dont expect a room with a view or great facilities, as this is not what you are paying for. It delivers on the offer. Outside of the room, there are stains on the carpet and the facilities are not new. The sauna is usable. Its a 17 min walk to the closest ski lift and there is nothing to do on the area but there is a supermarket 2 mins away. If you want a more lively area, you should look into Chantemerle rather than Briaçon, which is another area in Serre Chevalier, more popular and with a more developed town. The staff was helpful and friendly.

No room with balcony
we had booked a room with balcony and when we got there, although the room was ready and they were quick at giving us our key, after going to the room and realizing there was no balcony but view of the back street, I had to go back to the reception. I was told that they had none available. I wanted to talk to the manager but wasn't there and the person at the desk said, you can talk to him tomorrow so I asked what time and he said around 9 or 10 if he comes in.... are you sure he's coming in tomorrow? that was the worst answer in the history of customer service: "I don't know, I don't have his planning agenda".... not happy customer :-(

Shower was terrible
The shower was Way below standards. It was so tight I wasn't sure if it's even functional. Both shower and hot water knobs needed replacement. Not happy with the experience at all.

Nice basic hotel for convenience, only spoilt by the poor girl who was running from the reception to serving behind the bar and back every few minutes with no help as no other hotel staff were present, but still kept smiling and was a credit to the hotel, totally ridiculous when the hotel was busy...(early evening) also had no beer on draught for whatever reason resulting in the fridge behind the bar being emptied out pretty rapidly. Lovely local chalet style restaurant 7 minutes walk that was lovely

Great Basic Hotel, Excellent Value for Ski Holiday
Stayed 4 nights with a friend while on a ski holiday. Hotel is basic, but clean and comfortable, with excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful, despite our very limited French. The location shares a building with a shopping plaza and is about 10 minutes walk from the ski lifts. While this is convenient, it is certainly not the most picturesque. A few maintenance issues were visible in hallways, but nothing of major concern.

Decent budget hotel.
A basic but adequate hotel. Easy check in. Dull corridors but no big deal. Room: Pretty clean and cleaned daily. Warm. Bed ok. Lots of storage. Bathroom modern, good power shower. TV: Bizarrely no English channel (eg you expect CNN or BBC World News). OK for us as we speak French but a little odd. Breakfast €9.50pp served in adjoining Ibis section of hotel. Breads, jams, croissants, pains au chocolats, cheeses, meat selections, yoghurt, etc. Excellent coffee machine. Food offer actually very good. Restaurant clean, plates, cutlery very clean. Hotel also has shared bar with Ibis. Overall verdict: if you're looking for luxury it's not a hotel for you. If you're not likely to be staying in the hotel much it's very adequate - for us skiin for instance we were out daily at 8 returning 530 for shower before going out to eat and then returning for a sleep. So for us it was fine. It does also have a pool but pretty drab so don't get excited! Only real criticism is the wifi. We were in an end room which it barely covered. When we had a room closer to the reception previously though that room was fine. Also the wifi uses access codes but it regularly times out so you can be in the middle of doing something then have to go to the effort or reconnecting (if working you can lose emails you typing etc). The hotel is on a supermarket complex (handy) & shares a free ample car park. All in all a reasonable hotel for stop overs or people not spending much time in the hotel itself.

Bon rapport qualité/prix
Bon rapport qualité prestations/prix. Notre chambre n’était pas suffisamment chauffée. Piscine et Sauna appréciables mais le hammam était en panne. Petit déjeuner correct mais pas régulier, certains jours le buffet était presque vide à l’heure où nous arrivions.
