The hotel lobby which serves as a dining area was packed on the holiday. Very clean, comfortable rooms; locally sourced toiletries and plenty of hot water. Five stars across the board and we look forward to our next stay.

"This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. "
