"We were in town for a wedding. This place was just what we needed. Beds were comfy, place was clean, and location was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had read reviews that mentioned the train which was good to know ahead of time. I made two casseroles to take to a brunch and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary kitchen utensils. We would definitely stay here again."

"We did have a few little issues but communication was very quick to respond. I suggest they get a new cleaning crew. The frig was missed and it was noticeable that something had spilled inside the frig. The house is as listed. The linens where clean and ample towels where provided. We would stay here again."

Although the hose was pretty clean, i would suggest a little dusting, especially in the corners in the upstairs bedrooms near the AC units. I would absolutely recommend this this place to anyone visiting the area. "

"The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back."

"Cozy house just steps from the water. The private island is for sure worth visiting, especially for the sunset's. The kitchen is amazing and has literally anything you can think of or need. Dixie is beyond an amazing host, she exceeded my expectations when it came to communicating and made this trip so easy from the moment I hit book. "Very Nice home with updated bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Great entertainment area for watching movies when weather was not great. 3 full bathrooms and a great master bedroom suite. The lake view was very cool. and the dock area and boat very nice. The home is in a lagoon area so Not great swimming by dock but short way out the water clears up nicely."

"My sister and I were looking for a place we could just relax for Mother's Day weekend and this was the perfect spot. There was a coffee and tea bar complete with different flavored coffees and creamers, snacks, more toiletry options than I have at my own house, smart TVs in many rooms, and a hot tub to relax in. It was very clean, but also welcoming and homey. I definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed, chill getaway. I will be returning in the future."

"This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!"

Maurice was very communicative, compassionate, and kind enough to work it out so we could stay there earlier than we had booked. This place, which Maurice calls a “cottage” is beautiful.
