"The room was very good (we were given an upgrade.) it had tall ceilings , was spacious, modern decor, comfortable bed, a fridge to keep you own water cool, decent air con, a massive bathroom with rainfall shower. The staff also made it possible for us to store luggage for an hour or two after checkout which was helpful. The only points for improvement would be the check in times extended to start at 3pm. "

First time when we visited Tenuta Mazzetta we were taken by the tranquility of this place - amazing pool, beautiful gardens, very friendly and welcoming staff and this rustic farmy feel. This year we were positively surprised how much care the staff puts in to this place. "The dinner was good, the breakfast was excellent (except coldish, but tasty, scrambled eggs), the bed and room very comfortable, and the staff beyond helpful. The exercise room was well equiped and spacious."

"An unhappy experience. When we arrived at our hotel we were told it was closed due to a "technical problem" and that we were booked in a different hotel. While the other hotel was very well situated, it was tired looking, no wi-fi in the rooms, and we had the worst room in the hotel, looking out on a service courtyard instead of a sea view. Heating rails in the bathroom did not work. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom either."
