The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Walkable distance to South Bank parklands and dining and entertainment options. Room would benefit from renovations - seemed pretty worn out, sound from the next room carried so we could hear other guest talking on phone/watching tv and having shower quite clearly. Overall staff and location compensated any inconvenience during the short stay.

Always a great place to stay!

We chose Central Hillcrest because we were attending a concert at Brisbane's Riverstage, and it is a short walk to the venue. We have stayed at Hillcrest a number of times over the years and are never disappointed. The staff at Reception were friendly and courteous, the room immaculate, and the location very convenient to South Bank, The Mater Hospital, and many other locales.

Could you please get staff to have some knowledge about location of shopping centres, as when I asked the person at the desk - they could not really help me, apart from saying that I could go into the city. I ended up asking someone passing by the hotel!

Have stayed here multiple times and it’s always a pleasant experience. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s nice and clean and the staff I’ve dealt with are always nice. Easy walking to South Bank

We stayed for 17 days, the two bedroom apartment was great, furnished, cooking utensils provided, good city views, have to do most of the cleaning ourselves, have to purchase disinfectant, cleaning sprays, etc, only problem was cleaning staff just changed towels and emptied bins on daily basis, toilet and bath was just wiped off once a week, it wasnt washed, hand basin never cleaned, sheets were only changed once in those 17 days, we didnt ask them to make bed but they could atleast clean the toilets every 3rd or 4th day. So yes the apartment is good but I think cleaning should be given some priorities esp for guests who are staying for so long and paying large sums of money.
