"Hotel was spotless, owners extremely helpful and friendly. King size comfortable bed. Room was beautifully decorated with lots of little extras. Even left us an Easter Egg each in the room. Breakfast had lots of variety and was piping hot. Nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it and will return to this little gem of a place"

"The proprietors are very friendly and obliging and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and very well equipped with a large shower (room Agatha). It's in an excellent location both for the beach, town centre and harbour. There is also a nice garden with nice new garden furniture. "I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year."

"Inclement and changeable weather is a fact of life for the winter months, but in my little aerie overlooking the sea I was cozy and content. With a longer stay that included days of spectacular sunshine and beautiful rainbows I was able to settle in inside a perfectly laid out apt with the ocean steps away. Well-equipped and cheerful decor, clean and comfortable. Hosts were gracious and responsive. Short walk to the harbor and one of the most dramatic outlooks at Berry Head, not to mention miles...
