Room was ok. Cleaning not good. No food or drink facilities. Didn't listen to my phone request for a downstairs room due to my disabilities.
Wouldn't let me charge car overnight as it is a Rapid charger. Charging a good price but if you go over an hour you are charged an extra £4 - this is wavered if uou are staying at the hotel

This is a beautiful hotel with charm and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed here 4 times and hope to have more visits, which would be easier if we lived closer.
The staff are friendly and welcoming; the rooms very well appointed and clean and the food delicious.

Arrived and greeted by the most incredibly kind staff. They really couldnt have given us any more to make us feel welcome. Want to give a huge thanks to Robin on reception. My husband has a neck injury and the staff even offered to get pain medications from the local Pharmacist for us.
The food in 1881 resturant within the grand hotel was delicious and served by Felix. What a kind gentleman he was also. Even making my young boy happy by giving him free mocktails!
Both inside and outsoor pools area great addition to our stay, the breakfast is tasty and always left each morning with full bellies. We will definitely be coming back. We were so sad to leave today. Thank you all for a wonderful stay
