"Booked as a standard single room in a budget hotel on a room only basis. The room was clean and tidy and offered reasonable comfort for my needs and everything worked. The staff member booking me in was pleasant. I did not use any of the rest of the hotel but thought the entrance and lounge area looked quite smart. The long walk to the room is a bit of drawback but not unexpected. The hotel is normally the cheapest option in the Babbacombe and is useful in that regard."

"We requested an upgrade to a delux double room, we also requested to have well done bacon and this was granted for breakfast as the ones provided were not as we would have liked. Staff were very very helpful staff, spa staff lovely and helpful. Reception staff lovely, first impression great. Bar staff great. Evening meal lovely food and staff great, this is the second time we've stayed at the Imperial, I do recommend it and would stay again. They are refurbishing the hotel so some areas done and and a lot more to do as a very large hotel, pool is lovely, steam and jacuzzi amazing. So yes all amazing. All good. Nice place to stay."

"I really cannot fault our recent stay, the only irritating thing was when I booked online I requested a ground floor room due to health issues and never and any sort of feedback, when we arrived I again requested a ground floor room and was told that this hotel didn't have any ground floor rooms ( I didn't mishear this as my partner clearly heard it as well she confirmed) but this hotel definitely does have ground floor rooms and I do not understand why I was told differently. Apart from that obviously annoying episode the stay was really good"
