"Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices."

"The staff were excellent in their customer service and even upgraded us to a bigger room. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service and the pool and sauna is always an added bonus. Will definitely be booking again."

"We stayed in July, was very hot. There was no air con but we had a fan in the room. Shower was very slow and bed small ( I like a king size if for two people) Overall was ok, closed to the town, free parking and breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. I would recommend for short stay."
