Royal Plaza Montreux

"Location of the hotel was excellent, all within walking distance. The lake was outside the hotel, short walk to trains, buses and shops& cafes. Beautiful sceneries. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, even on 7th floor shower was brilliant. All the hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and responded to our queries immediately. The reception staff in particular was very very helpful. Breakfast had a good choice, the swimming pool and hot tub was clean and never crowded. I stayed with 3 teenage grandchildren and had the best time together. If we visit Montreux again this will be our choice again. Highly recommended to stay here to anyone visiting this beautiful lakeside town. We had a lovely relaxed time at the Royal Plaza hotel."

"5/5 ⭐️ Excellent location directly across from the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy. A big plus was having air conditioning in the rooms, especially during the summer months. Just be aware that the restaurants are not air-conditioned, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during hot weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"One of my top 3 ever experiences!! Staff were excellent, balancing professionalism with warmth and friendliness! Staff really went above and beyond! I realized I left my sports coat in the wardrobe but had no way to return. I emailed, they found the coat, packaged and sent it on to an upcoming hotel all at no charge. Rooms were beautiful, property was well maintained, views were spectacular and food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. We’ll be back to spend a couple of days on site!! Cannot recommend enough!!"
Villa Toscane

"Didn't initially realise that the property management is the same as that of the Royal Plaza (opposite) but didn't really cause much of an issue. We were still able to use the amenities at Royal Plaza. Villa Toscane itself wasn't manned but our room was really nice and clean. Staff overall were very helpful and we had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend."

"Very nice hotel. Our only complaints were the people slamming their doors throughout the night. It was loud! Also, hotel is advertised as having air conditioning. There is a thermostat on on the wall however it did not cool the room when we placed it on this setting. We came back about one hour later and it was the same. My husband called the front desk and was informed there is no A/C. If we wanted cooler temperatures we were instructed to open our window. It was a bit too warm for us and very humid in the morning."
