The bed was comfortable and we loved that there was no tv to drown out the lapping waves! The food at breakfast and dinner was great quality and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again if we get the chance."

"The staff were very helpful and obliging; the room was comfortable and had a sea view. It also had a TV, which was not advertised on the website - an omission which should perhaps be rectified. As to breakfast, I was a bit disappointed that there was no fruit available as an option - but no objections were raised when I brought in my own supplies. Despite a fair being in operation on the green opposite, it was very quiet - EXCEPT on the Friday night when there was a function with loud music on in the room downstairs until midnight ; I suppose one has to accept that when staying in a hotel open to the public, and fortunately it was only the one night. And it also meant I could get a meal at the hotel on the evening I arrived, which was a plus. So on the whole I had a very pleasant stay."
