★ A NOTE ON YOUR WOODLAND ESCAPE ★ We are thrilled to share our slice of nature with you! Because this home is nestled in the heart of the woods, please keep in mind that you are visiting a thriving ecosystem. While the peace and privacy are unmatched, "vacationing in the woods" comes with a few natural quirks: - Wildlife: It is common to see deer, turkeys, and squirrels. Occasionally, larger neighbors like raccoons may pass through. Please keep all food indoors and dispose of trash in the secured bins provided to avoid uninvited dinner guests. - The "Bug" Factor: We maintain a professional pest control schedule; however, the occasional spider, beetle, ladybug, or wasp may find their way inside—especially during rain or seasonal shifts. These "woodland friends" are simply part of the forest experience. - Spring Pollen Disclaimer: If you are visiting during the spring, please be aware that the forest is in full bloom! A fine dusting of yellow pollen on outdoor furniture and decks is common during this time. Guests with sensitivities may want to come prepared. - Keeping doors and screens closed will help keep the great outdoors exactly where it belongs—outdoors!
We encourage you to have a great time, but respect the cabin and neighboring cabins. Sounds travel very far in the remote areas of the forest.

The stocked pond and all the amenities made for a great family getaway! We caught tons of small blue gill, a few tiny catfish, and a few 12" bass in the pond.
The layout of this cabin was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. Cabin was super clean. Location is perfect--close to everything in Hochatown, the casino, and the lake and state parks.

Amazing house!!
What a wonderful long weekend and the best house!! The house has absolutely everything you need, great set up on the inside!! The outside was a family dream - the boys were so happy just being at the house - had every activity you could think of - it was really magical and bringing our furry family member made it even better!! So relaxing and peaceful and just the best family vacation!!! Will for sure book again!! Outside gravel was a little getting used to for our dog, but he adapted quick!! Really close to hochatown and amazing hikes.

Hidden pond lodge
Pros: Very happy with our stay at hidden pond lodge. Beautiful location. Secluded. Private dock. Fish stocked pond. Fishing poles and paddle boat available. Clean house. Cabin themed. Teepee and playground outside. Cabin had nearly everything we needed.
Great communication from management company. Consistent.
Cons: like all cabins in this area, too many rules. Lots of tasks to do before we checked out. My dad was really scared he had to follow all the rules to a T.
We loved the cabin, plenty of space for friends and family that came to visit and stay. Our 2 dogs loved the pond but the gravel hurt their paws so be cautious of that. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were called on Sunday by someone from Tree Line saying they saw that we had dogs and guests on the property. there are cameras all around the property but for someone to call me and tell me they are watching us made me feel uneasy. I did not appreciate that at all. So be aware that they are watching you on their cameras.
