"It was a relaxing girls weekend getaway! Loved the unique character of the wizards cabin and we enjoyed the hot tub. We took a short drive into Little Falls for some shopping and ate supper at the Hub in Grey Eagle. Would recommend!!"

"There was nobody at the front desk when we arrived at 7:00pm. Rang the bell and someone in the back yelled " Be right there" with what sounded like a mouthful of food. Check in went normal and i said thank you as she handed us our room keys but she said nothing in return. Breakfast was so awful. The coffee tasted like the pot hadn't been cleaned in years, it actually tasted moldy. There were what seemed like microwaved scrambled eggs and sausage links along with waffles for hot food. There was a cooler with a couple small containers of yogurt and nothing else. The apple juice and orange juice were both empty. The also had some assorted breads for toating and some baggies fo donuts or donut holes which seemed a few days old. Checkout took a bit of time as the attendant was outside smoking when we arrived at the desk to check out. "

"Check in was good, the room satisfactory. However the pool was unusable. It is advertised that this hotel has complimentary free breakfast but there was no breakfast offered at all. "

"This was the perfect little getaway for us! Log cabin in the woods without getting totally off the grid. Loved the sauna! Host was friendly, engaging, and accommodating about our late check out request. And, not having a long list of “to-do’s” at checkout was much appreciated and the perfect way to end the vacation. Great stay and a great value! "

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. "
