A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. "Liked the sunsets, the coziness, the peace and quiet. Didn't like the shallow water by the dock for our boat. No wifi, or way to hook tv up to it. The bathroom with the tiny toilet and slipery bathtub. My husband and I are in our 70's and it's not very accessible for bad backs and knees, or for larger people like our son."
