"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better...

"It’s great location if you want to visit Cinque Terre. The ferry terminal is walkable distance and the train station is not far away. You can park your car in the train station for free. "Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "
