The Space:
✨ The Loft: A Living Work of Art
Welcome to a 180 m² haven, luminous and sculpted by the raw charm of an old industrial building and the artistic finesse of its owner, Yseult, an internationally renowned visual artist. This place is not just a dwelling: it’s an immersion into art, design, history… and emotion.
🖼️ A Living Gallery Inhabited
The loft belongs to Yseult D., who has exhibited at FIAC, the Venice Biennale, and at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris. Her original works, with vibrant textures and abstract silhouettes, are present everywhere, like fragments of soul suspended on the walls. The loft thus becomes a private museum, where you are the only guest.
🍷 The Iconic Table from the "Île-de-France" Liner
At the center of the space, an immense oval table made of precious wood from another era: it has traversed oceans aboard the legendary ocean liner Île-de-France 🛳️, a flagship of French art de vivre in the 1930s. A testament to a bygone refinement, it now hosts your dinners, your thoughts, your projects, just as it once did for diplomats and artists on transatlantic journeys.
🍽️ The Dining Room: A Theatre of Emotions
• Deep blue velvet chairs with a refined design
• Elegant tableware set on a brown leather doily
• A central decoration composed of silvery foliage and iridescent spheres, worthy of a Michelin-starred dinner
• A table backlit by a spherical brass pendant light—guaranteeing a “wow” effect upon arrival
Celebrity chefs have cooked here, and exclusive dinners have taken place. Today, this theatre is yours.
🍳 An Exceptional Kitchen for Rare Moments
• A long, consecutive kitchen featuring royal blue cabinets and steel handles
• A floor with backlit tiles, creating a podium effect under your feet
• Gas burners, a stylish suspended hood, an oven, and a built-in refrigerator
• A brass pendant light in a 70s style
All of this is bathed in a soft, warm light that evokes film sets and the grand kitchens of Paris.
🛋️ Living Room: A Cinematic Setting
• Camel leather sofas, elegant and comfortable, perfect for long discussions or movie nights
• An overhead projector and a flat-screen TV, installed opposite a large bay window
