"Had one of the apartments and it was very handy to have your own facilities; even had an Indian takeaway one night instead of a restaurant meal. Rather small and basic table/stools but generally very good"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gwynfa House. We were two families of four and found the property to be really spacious, with different living areas, so everyone found it really comfortable. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds and the pillows meant we had great sleeps.We were really pleased with the size of the garden and to have this so close to the beach was more than we expected. We hadn't realised just how close to the beach the house was, the kids loved going down there after our evening meal. Abersoch centre was also only two minutes away, which was a bonus!Virginia was a great host who provided lots of detail about the house and directions for getting there. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning soon."

"Another great stay. As on other trips the house was immaculate. We took dogs with us this time and bowls and bedding were left for us to use. They took full advantage of the balcony to watch the world go by.Minor issue with a door was sorted immediately- having direct contact with Guy is great.First time our teenage kids have come with us and they really appreciate the decent WiFi and sky tv."

"Lovely cottage in a wonderful location. Decorated to a high modern standard with all amenities covered. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Spacious kitchen/ diner, plenty of hot water on tap. We were a group of 6 and never ran out even when we were all showering around the same time.Lots of books and puzzle games to enjoy and even stuff for the beach, cricket set, giant jenga etc. Location is fantastic to explore the lovely Welsh countryside and the views from the terrace watching the sun go down over the sea are amazing!! There is even an electric car charging point on site. About a 15 minute walk into the local town (steep hill across countryside) where you will find fast food restaurants, a Spar shop and a lovely little pub. It’s about a 3 minute drive. The only thing to note is that the access road to the cottage is quite narrow and can get covered in loose stones after heavy rain (if you are unlucky with the weather). I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing break or as a base for exploring north Wales."

Stunning, historic holiday apartment

"The accommodation was very good for our family of eight, plenty of rooms which were comfortable. All the amenities in the kitchen were ample. It is a very quirky apartment with loads of interesting features. The location is very central for beach and local area. One of the downside was the owners dogs barking around 8am every morning. Also because it is an old chapel there was a lot of areas which had cobwebs. Overall we enjoyed our week."

"We stayed in room 1 and absolutely nothing wrong with it. Looked like it had recently been refurbished. It is self service check in so please read the email you will receive on the morning of your stay. If we do North Wales again, would certainly consider rebooking"
