My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!!
I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. Met him the 2nd night we were there and he was so friendly and remembered talking to me!
Check in and check out was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and helpful, they were putting up Christmas stuff for the guests and were in a great mood everytime we interacted. The first night we were there they lit us a fire in the fire pit and offered complimentary s’mores! My son loved that!
The room was equipped with everything you could think of, had a little mini kitchenette with a mini stove with small pots and pans to cook with, utensils, coffee maker, coffee, creamer, sugar, mini fridge, toaster and even a microwave! We didn’t cook but the attention to detail in these rooms were very well thought out!
We loved how peaceful the area was and loved our experience in Bryson City and they really do it up for the Polar Express! Our son had a blast! We would love to come back to visit in the summer and maybe even the fall and we would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you again for a peaceful and lovely stay!!
Great property & location! Very well equipped(utensils/toiletries/towels/small appliances/outdoor furniture) as advertised. Very clean & highly recommend!!
I hesitate to share this because I don’t want word to get out, but this place is just perfect. The location is spot on. The hosts are very accommodating. The rooms are sparking clean. The grounds are beautiful. This place has everything you need.
Such a cute place, comfy beds, many amenities & within minutes of many rafting companies and fun things to do. They have a supply of some food you can cook right there on outside griddles or s’mores by the fire (We stayed too busy/tired to cook there for the couple days we stayed but a nice feature). Check this place out!
Very clean and manager was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Outdoor porch was so inviting and outdoors had 2 firepits, tables and chairs. Even gave out s’more fixings! Yum!
The Lodge is beautiful and well maintained. The owner was friendly and cheerful. Our stay was short and we didn't get to use the grills on site. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills, plus fire pits and relaxing swings. We would love to go back and enjoy all that is offered. Great place to stay if you also plan adventure on the river as it's right across the road.
Room amenities were excellent. Comfortable beds!!!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. It has all the amenities of a hotel(and then some)as well as all the amenities of camping. Trust me if you like to walk out your front door and sit in a rocker listening to a waterfall you will love The Lodge. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks.
