"We love a place with character, charm, and hospitality. Lloyd’s did not disappoint. The property is right on the river and we enjoyed winding down and relaxing on the porch and at the fire pit area. The room was cozy and rustic with the feel of an “old timey” cabin. We were there in February and the water took a very long time to get hot but it did eventually get to bathing temperature. Check in was smooth and Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and available on the property. Location is convenient to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Sylva (our favorite) and many waterfalls, hiking trails, etc. We would definitely stay at Lloyd’s again."

"The peace and quiet was well received had a little issue with the thermostat, but I think that’s because it was pre-programmed for when people are not there. Other than that the view was outstanding. Everything we needed was there. The cleanliness was five star. Everything function the way it was supposed to, and sometimes that in itself is enough, but I have to say above board setting above board amenities and a spectacular view. "

"Our stay was perfect. The house was simple with everything we needed. It was perfect for a weekend away to just tuck ourselves away on the mountain. The hot tub was fantastic after a cold day out! You will want all wheel/4 wheel drive to get to it. Troy, the host was fantastic. Very responsive and attentive…not that we were in need of anything but he was available if we did. The starlink worked great! Had no connectivity issues at all and was able to stay in touch with family back home. If your looking for a nice, simple getaway for you and your loved one…don’t need all the bells and whistles of something fancy but has everything you need to be comfortable while staying close to town, I recommend it. We will definitely be back! "
