  • You are centrally located to all Athens, Logan, and Nelsonville have to offer, inviting you to explore all of Southeast Ohio! Our guests are 20 – 30 minutes from Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, and countless state lakes. Come explore, experience, and enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful rolling hills of Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest.

    Hitching Post Cabin is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, each furnished with a Queen sized bed. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to enjoy a home cooked meal on your getaway!

    A unique feature about this property is that it sits by a Historic Landmark - the Buchtel Water Underground Spring. Locals still use the spring to this day!

Great property

Nice cabin. Next to a natural spring that people pulled up to in loud deisel trucks constantly, however. The property itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Cabin was exceptionally clean and nice inside and on the limited surrounding property. The location is in a less-than-desirable neighborhood and also immediately next to a public spring water filling station that stays quite busy. A great place to stay if you want to spend most of your time indoors or just need a place to spend the night near local attractions.
