"Lovely hotel, great breakfast & friendly staff. It was very hot during our stay & they provided a fan although it wasnt very effective, but it was a kind thought. We only stayed 1 night but the staff were great."

"We had a late check in (out of staffed hours) and it could not have been easier. We made contact to make sure it was ok, on arrival we got access and our room key with no fuss. Located the room and it was all very fresh feeling and lovely. It being one of the hottest nights of the year and there no built in aircon (welcome to England), but the fan kept us cool and the whole set up was really good. Check out was very simple too."

"Beautiful old hotel well situated in the beautiful town of Ludlow Shropshire! Room was clean and staff were welcoming and helpful! Restaurant was lovely with great choices for breakfast and also had a lovely dinner! Parking is secure although can get full quickly! There are other close options for parking! Only other comment I would make that there were a lot of stair to get to my room so may not be suitable for disabled! There is a lift but still quite a few stairs to get to my room! There may be ground floor options for disabled but I didn’t need it so was fine for me! There were even some stairs up to the toilet in the bathroom! All in all a great hotel in a very good location! Would definitely stay again!"

"Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel, the room was clean but a bit noisy. Room 4 was a bit noisy as the kitchen was below and we had to have the windows open, we were only staying the one night so didn’t complain. We had eat in the restaurant on Monday evening and had a very pleasant time good food and a drink outside on the patio."

"Excellent place to stay with dogs as you are self contained with an area to walk them away from the main road. Facilities good, we had a lovely garden cottage - only downside are the doors are built for hobbits (I’m a little over 5ft and had no issues, 6ft + hubby cracked his head once…"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Baiting House. I stayed for a week for business in the area. I hired a lodge which was cheaper than surrounding hotels. I found the accommodation to be clean and in excellent condition. The Hot tub was a bonus and I used it every night of my stay. The lodges are set out so you are not overlooked and the views are amazing. It was extremely quiet and there are some lovely walks on site. I used the restaurant and although the menu only had a few items for each course. I found them to be extremely tasty and of very good quality. I will certainly be visiting again and look forward to trying more of the menu"
