Stayed at Astoria for 3 nights with breakfast included. I must say the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choices and the location was convenient. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no phone or fridge in the room.

Location was acceptable and breakfast met my needs, but very noisy. I had reserved stay over two months and added request for room to not be located by Main Street/road to avoid noise. Central location is good, however during the hottest period in Budapest, I would expect air conditioning to be working. Even though we asked them to check it 3 times, the temperature was always at 25.6 over our 3 day stay.They claimed it was working. The staff here are not happy, you would be lucky to get a smile. Read the reviews, it's a very common thing here. Even though we paid more than the Marriott, the visit was very dissapointing. Stay somewere that ownership makes customer service a priority.

This is a lovely old hotel full of charm and large rooms. We were most comfortable and loved being able to open the windows. You are right outside a metro station, so very convenient. The market is close by, so don’t miss that! The breakfast was very good, plenty of selection.

Location is unbeatable. Walkable to many places, lots of dinning and shopping near the hotel. Although the hotel is a beautiful old building, there is a section of the hotel that is recently remodeled. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I would certainly recommend.

Lovely experience at well-run, excellently located hotel with fine breakfast & excellent separate restaurant for lunch and dinner. Room was large & comfortable. On busy street with lots of noise, yet the closed windows kept us quiet. Unfortunately, AC wasn't turned on during our visit (April) so the room was stuffy & warm when the window was shut.
