"The location is fantastic, but overall the stay didn’t justify the price. The room felt dated, and the TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Check-in was frustrating as we were told a physical credit card was required, despite many people now relying on digital wallets. They ultimately accepted a debit card and processed it as a standard transaction anyway, making the initial insistence seem unnecessary. While the room appeared clean at first glance, travelling with a crawling baby quickly revealed dust, hair and dirt on the floors, which was disappointing. Housekeeping also came during nap time each day, making servicing inconvenient. For a beachside property, I was surprised that the floors weren’t mopped regularly given the amount of sand guests naturally bring in. Overall, a great location, but the property is becoming dated and doesn’t offer the value you’d expect for the price."

"The hotel/ apartment was fantastic. The reception staff were lovely and helped me to book theme park tickets and were able to give me advice on the area. The room itself was spacious with a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room has been well maintained. The only slight thing I was missing was a stove top burner to cook on- however, there was a microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher."

"Hilton is the best place I visited in Gold coast so far. The location is amazing and the cleanliness of the property is spotless. In addition the staff are so friendly,welcoming and helpful. I loved the Hilton and will definitely come back soon ."

"Amazing location and reasonable price. Very clean with excellent staff too. Facilities were great, will definitely book here again. Only pitfall is parking….they must have too many permanent residence and so no parking for visitors unless your in a penthouse, I didn’t like this at all."

"Really enjoyed our stay! Kids absolutely loved the pool, slide and spa bath in the bedroom. It’s an older hotel, so not in perfect/new condition which is fantastic when you’ve got 3 kids with you. The hotel was very spacious with heaps of places to sleep. I asked for extra towels and they brought them up so fast! Great location as well, excellent views of the river. Took only 5 mins to walk into Cavill ave. Fully stocked kitchen as well if you wanted to cook and a full sized fridge. Also has wifi and smart TV’s , so we could watch Netflix which you don’t always get in hotels. Absolutely loved our stay and we would stay again. There was also SO much storage inside the hotel!"
