"Really large rooms with jacuzzi inside. Complimentary entrance and shuttle to Kitoku hot springs was a great bonus. Breakfast was fine - Iā€™ve had greater variety and quality at other stays on this trip but it was good with standard Costa Rican and US options. Two things I felt could have been better a) in the hotel information and at breakfast there were lots of warnings of charges should patrons break the rules which I understand but felt a little unwelcoming, b) I was asked which restaurant I would like to eat at when I arrived and picked the informal option, and on arriving there was told I couldnā€™t eat from their menu as all their dishes were for a minimum of two people which was very unwelcoming for solo travellers. Whilst the staff tried to solve the issue and said I could order from their Ć  la carte restaurant and have it brought down I needed to see the menu so changed restaurant. I donā€™t blame the staff for this, Iā€™ve just never been to a restaurant where itā€™s entire premise is you have to be in a group 2+ and found the experience alienating."
