Check in was good. The TV in my room did not work. There was no remote. I went to front desk twice. No help whatsoever. Kept insisting it worked. I just had to fiddle with it. I did not. Asked a manager to help me out. Never did. No light between the beds. Things were stored in my room that didn't belong there. I was clean and pet friendly.

Ice machine broken, had to go to neighboring hotel for ice. Young lady working the front desk was very nice but there was garbage all around the outside. The dresser drawers were ripped up, with front of drawer missing. It was conveniently located.

Bed was very comfortable. Check in was easy and girl was very friendly. Room was clean but rather old. What was surprising, was lack of things you usually expect such as soap to wash your hands.

This hotel has been around for 40+ years. I cannot imagine what maintenance costs must be, and profit margins are probably terrible. All that being said, and the understanding of the challenge of running a hotel, Expedia should NOT advertise Red Roof Inn on their site. The room as abysmal. The room smelled badly. The floor was strangely sticky. The lights over the bed did not work, neither did the light over the sink. Someone brought in a table light to replace the non working vanity light, but was missing the bulb. The shower worked, water was hot, but the bathroom as well as the rest of the room had peeling paint. The bed was comfortable and AC worked. Other than that, I would not recommend this hotel.

Red Roof can be hit or miss. Unfortunately this Red Roof is a miss. I traveled with a dog. I was charged $15 for my dog but then my receipt said that the first dog was free. Additional dogs were $15 each. No big deal but get that stuff straightened out. My room had a hole in the bathroom wall. FIX: put a small mirror over it. The soap and shower containers in the shower were empty. FIX: Fill them. The broken replacement was left on the sink. FIX: Get rid of it. The toilet seat was connected by only one of the two screws. FIX: Put in a new screw. Three bars of unopened soap were on the sink and felt wet from humidity. FIX: Replace them. On a positive note - although the bed was a bit short I found it comfortable and I did sleep well. At 9PM housekeeping was doing extremely loud maintenance on the adjacent room. I did address that with the workers and the front office staff and they were kind and cooperative. They did seem concerned and addressed the noise. It just seemed an odd time to be doing that kind of work. Finally, the area itself felt unsafe. There were individuals walking around the facility that did not appear to be customers. I felt it prudent to put items behind the door to protect myself during my sleep. I am glad my wife did not accompany me for this trip. Would I return. No. It seems that management is keen to reply to Expedia comments. Might I recommend they rather spend the time in a team meeting to address these concerns.

Okay if you need a place

Room wasn’t as clean as I’m use to sheet had a stain on it. We only stayed 1 night of our stay and switched hotels. We got in late Friday and spent the day out and about on Saturday came back to the room and the key card didn’t work. Cleaning staff saw and let us in. Good thing we were moving hotels.
