We loved La Monastica. The property is beautiful and secluded above the town. It’s very quiet except for the tower bell which seems to ring on the hour 24hours per day. The food was good, the service very attentive and professional and the room was high standard. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the La Monastica Resort immensely. The area around the resort was beautiful and the views from our room was gorgeous, even when it was raining. The staff at the resort was another bonus. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially our server at breakfast, Michaela (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She always had a big smile for us every single time she saw us and her service was impeccable.

Amazing customer service! The staff made us feel like we were at home and never let us worry about ANYTHING! We knew everyone by name and they greeted us by name everywhere. The spa was exceptional, and the restaurant deserves Michelin stars. Their local wine selection and as great as well and the restaurant staff were extremely knowledgeable. Will come back next time we are in Italy.

The hotel is extraordinary because the staff here makes you feel like family. The hotel has been by far the best place we have stayed in. The resort is newly renovated and literally has only been open for a few months but their vision really came to life as the location is phenomenal and the amenities are absolutely stunning. I want to first stress that this place is unique in the sense that every little detail is perfect but what really makes this place special are the amazing people who work tirelessly to make your stay memorable. When we checked in we were greeted but none other Paola at the reception desk who brought us over to the bar for a welcome drink and then personally walked us around and gave us a tour of the hotel and all its beautiful sights. Ricardo was the bar tender and has such knowledge and passion in making drinks so make sure you try one of his signature cocktails. Sarah was absolutely amazing and is Ricardo’s counterpart when he is not there, we literally spent what seemed like hours sharing stories and laughs, we connected with her in such a way that my wife even exchange instagrams with her to follow each other and keep in touch. We took a cooking class with Lucca, who is such a genius Chef and has so much passion you see his dedication play out as you listen to him speak about food but also makes you feel like you are at his house receiving a cooking lesson. We recommend staying here and take time meeting the incredible people at La monastica.

Our stay at La Monastica Resort and Spa has been nothing short of magical! Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, this former monastery offers an enchanting blend of history, luxury, and serene natural beauty. Arriving at the resort, we were greeted by the warmest and most hospitable international staff, who made us feel at home instantly. Special shoutouts to Gianmatteo, Leon, and Diane, whose kindness and attentiveness truly elevated our stay and left a lasting impression. A dramatic storm swept through during our visit, cutting off electricity and water for a night, but the resort graciously waived the charge for what was supposed to be a luxury evening. In the end, it only added to the unique charm and adventure of our stay. We loved the memory of a spooky castle setting and were blown away by the efforts made to put on an exquisite breakfast buffet, regardless of the storm. We were upgraded to a luxury suite, a gesture that reflected the resort’s impeccable hospitality. The suite was an absolute dream. Dining was equally phenomenal, with farm-to-table ingredients and indulgent truffle dishes and phenomenal service and wine selection. What made our stay extra special was connecting with the staff, some of whom hail from the same countries my partner and I had visited together. We also enjoyed walks into the surrounding woods, taking full advantage of the occasional warm weather to immerse ourselves in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Best resort and staff!
