NINE TREE BY PARNAS SEOUL INSADONG
8/10 Good
"The staff were incredible! Very helpful and kind. The building looks a bit dated. The carpet in the hallways look old and can use a cleaning. Wasn’t a fan of the carpet in the room either but the washroom was clean and bed comfy although more than 1 pillow would be nice. Great location! Convenient and located in a wonderful area"
"We stayed here for three nights to soda some sightseeing and really enjoyed our stay here at the hotel. The price was very reasonable, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable, the room was nice and the location was great. Very conveniently located to many palaces and shopping areas in Seoul. If you are visiting Seoul, you may consider staying here"
"My home away from home. Great for large families and super clean. The indoor pool and sauna was a plus. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well. It’s conveniently located near a coffee bean and in the cutest neighborhood. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else."
"Ideal location for exploring Insadong and getting to the subway to the rest of the city. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning much appreciated during the hot and humid July days. Would definitely stay here again."
ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong (Newly renovated in 2025)
10/10 Excellent
"Surpassed expectations! Great value and location.
I was initially hesitant to stay at an Ibis due to a past bad experience in Europe, but I decided to give this location a chance since it was recently renovated. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was great—clean, modern rooms and very friendly staff.
A major bonus was that the room was cleaned daily at no extra charge, which feels increasingly rare in Europe these days. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong or Changdeokgung Palace in about 20 to 30 minutes.
My only minor feedback is regarding the bathroom: while clean and mold-free, it could use a modern update to match the rest of the room. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its price, quality, and location!"
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel DAAM and would absolutely stay here again! The hotel is located in a charming neighborhood filled with narrow streets, traditional architecture, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. It felt like we were experiencing a more authentic side of Seoul.
The hotel itself has so much character, which made our stay even more memorable. It was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help.
If you're looking for a unique place to stay with a great location, exceptional cleanliness, and friendly service, I highly recommend Hotel DAAM. We can't wait to come back!"
"I loved the location and the staff who were always very helpful about telling us how far things are or help printing an excursion ticket. The hotel is in a perfect location to see the central Seoul and to get around by subway."
