Nicely decorated room
The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Shower water pressure is great Staffs are very friendly and speak very good English, helped us arranged a city tour and transfer The hotel is situated in a safe neighbourhood close to lyabi square. We felt very safe walking at night. We would highly recommend this place.

A friend recommended Minzifa and I am so glad she did. My stay in Bukhara this time was short, and my hotel stay was great - the room was clean and comfortable. The staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was even brewed coffee!!

Wonderful Central Hotel
This place is the perfect spot for exploring Bukhara. It has a quaint, relaxed atmosphere inside a historic feeling building. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and stayed cool during the heat of the summer. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel staff is not exactly welcoming....Upon arriving before check-in time we were suggested to wait in the breakfast area. We misunderstood the suggestion as an invitation to have the complimentary breakfast, since we were about to check in within half an hour anyways, but we were made to pay because we had breakfast before officially checking in, this is not particularly welcoming behavior for one of the top hotels of the city.....Also, we were charged for water bottles (which were free for guests) because we asked for them just a couple of minutes after we checked out. Being strickler for rules is one thing, and being unfriendly is something else...

The big amount of our reviews shows that the staff of the hotel is friendly and doing their job from heart. May be I am mistaking, even if so, it might be 0.01%It’s not good you are showing yourself like this. In my opinion you were not ready for any trip and everything you wanted was in front of the fact. Please be humble.If you are coming as couple why you booked single bed room for one person?As standard the check in time is 14:00 and check out time is 12:00 in everywhere.Dear guest we will do our best even to take early check in without any payment if we have availability. But when the hotel is full how can we give you a room at 07:00 morning. In this case everyone must be patient and wait until there is any availability is open.I hope after a few trips you will learn about the hotel rules according the room types and check in and check out hours.I am not writing here every incident you created. I hope you understand.Your behaviour was an experience for us.The reply was written by Minzifa Hotel management.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Minzifa. We arrived quite early and even though the hotel does not usually allow early check-in, they made one of our rooms ready for us within half an hour of arrival! The location is great, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the property itself is wonderfully decorated and historic. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the breakfast is great. Loved that they had some traditional Uzbek “suzani” on display and available to buy also. The only difficulty we had was that it was hard to get in touch with the hotel in advance, as I could not find an email for them anywhere. Otherwise everything was great!

Beautiful cozy & convenient
Quiet, cozy and very very pretty setting. The front desk speaks English and they also have a tour agency. I took an overnight yurt camp tour with them too and it was safe and professional. They are very responsive to queries. Within short walking distance of the main sites, with lots of eating options.

the property is old and perfectly equipped for a hotel. a marvel of construction. the room and in particular the bathroom, perfectly recycled and with all the comforts that are needed. highlighted the bathroom for its quality. The service staff and in particular who is in charge of the reception, have a great quality and vocation to serve. the location of the hotel could not be better. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Charming Hotel
I absolutely loved this hotel, it is charming, comfortable, clean with a very attentive staff. It is in the old section of town which makes it very convenient for shopping and site seeing. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a very nice hotel. It is very central though it may not seem that way as you drive up. The staff particularly the young lady at the front desk are very helpful and gracious.

Underwhelming experience visiting in December
I was really excited to stay here, after reading all the reviews - however, I felt underwhelmed by my stay. The location is decent, although it is quite hard to find when you arrive. My room was decent and I slept well, however, I found it to be poorly designed (light switch hidden behind a wardrobe and TV in a poor location). The WiFi was unusable in my room (just as well I had picked up a local SIM card), the hot water wasn't working in the bathroom and the room was colder than I would have liked (I travelled in early December). Think this might have been because my room was at the edge of the hotel despite it being almost empty. The staff were friendly, however, some of them spoke little english which made things more difficult. Hopefully, my experience was a one-off as I travelled in the low season. However, next time I would stay somewhere else as I feel that the experience was not worth what I paid for it.

The hotel is in a historical area, I loved walking out into the narrow streets from the gated courtyard. My daughters were concerned at first because of the narrow street/alley. But soon realized it is part of the charm of the area. We felt completely safe and would come back here again.

Excellent hotel located in the old city. The approach road was under construction, but apart from that I must say that the hotel had excellent staff and we were very well looked after. The breakfast was great too! The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent overall!

Haven in Old City
This is a small boutique hotel right in the old town. Once through the gate it is a haven of tranquility. Our room was eclectically decorated and in a good way. It was comfortable and had everything expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You stay here because of location and wanting to be in somewhere authentic with character - I can say on both counts it did not disappoint.

First class.
As someone who has stayed in a lot of hotels, this is up there with the best of them. You may want to get your taxi driver to give them a call, when you arrive in Bukharra, but once you've got you bearings, it's easy enough to find. I'm now in my fourth hotel in Uzbekistan with the Mizifa being the third, I got to say its the best I've stayed in in Uzbekistan. The rooms are great, very comfortable beds, clean, and nicely styled. The staff could not be more helpful. I hope your hungry at breakfast, you won't be after, wow. WiFi was good about 70% of the time. I've got to say if I ever come back to Bukhara, I don't think I would look anywhere else.

Excellent hotel close to Bukhara's Old City
Excellent hotel. A little bit hard to find - be careful not to go to the Restaurant Minzifa (which is also very good and owned by the same folks, but is on the main road so you'll have to walk over to the hotel dragging your bags). Location is otherwise excellent. Area is dark and generally unlit, but that's just how Bukhara in general is: I saw many kids playing at night, women walking alone, etc, so the area is completely safe. Hotel itself very clean, excellent breakfast, very good staff. All in all an incredible stay, and Bukhara the city is worth another book of praises.

Charming Gem in the old jewish quarter
We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel had been completely refurbished to provide a fresh take with a traditional feel. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and friendly sums up this place. Daily breakfast was delicious and wholesome. It is within 5 min walk to the old city for sightseeing. We loved hanging out in the courtyard. Only downside is weak wifi but did not affect my experience and this highly recommended boutique hotel.

Amazing and unique ambience at the Minzifa!
Our stay at the Minzifa was fantastic. We arrived in Bukhara at 9am, and I called and asked if we could have an early check-in, and they agreed, even though I hadn't made pre-arrangements. I also asked if we could have breakfast on check-in day since we were leaving early the next day as well, and they had a wonderful breakfast ready for us when we arrived. Because I asked for an early check-in, they gave us a different room than what I had reserved on hotels.com, so I asked if we could have the room I reserved, and they let us move out and check into that room when the guests vacated it. Everything that we inquired about they bent over backwards to help us with. Customer service is superb at the Minzifa and the staff are all extremely friendly. Its in a great location, right in the Old City, in close proximity to the main square. The ambience is amazing. There was a private courtyard off our room, and we were able to sit outside at night on carved wooden benches - very romantic. The decor is modeled after the traditional Uzbek style of the 1800's - with "noksh" painting on the walls, and carved wood on the ceilings. The bed covers and curtains are all made from ikat/adras material. All was very lovely and something you won't experience anywhere outside of Bukhara. I highly recommend the Minzifa - you will enjoy your time there!

La localisation du Boutique Hotel Minzifa est super, ce qui nous a permis de pouvoir nous promener dans toute la vieille ville à pieds. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et très bon!
